Successful prosecution by eastlaw

Another successful prosecution by Cara Jordan, Barrister of eastlaw, North Norfolk District Council. The Pleasure Boat Inn Ltd, did dispose of waste (including plastic fiberglass vinyl flooring) at the Nelson Head, The Street, Horsey in a manner (burning) likely to cause pollution of the environment/harm to human health – contrary to section 33(1)(c) and (6) Environmental Protection Act 1990. The following sentence was imposed against the company:

£2,500 – Fine
£1,805 – Costs
£170 – Victim surcharge
